Lessons
I teach all styles of drumming including Rock, Funk, Jazz, Latin, Reggae and any other style you could mention. Rudiments are taught including the standard forty P.A.S. (Percussive Arts Society ) drum rudiments, hand/foot technique, independence, chart reading, sight reading, listening skills, drum solos, technical exercises, and reading music and theory.
Drum kit grades are also taught including Rockschool, Trinity Rock & Pop syllabuses. All ages are welcome, and I teach 6 to 60 year olds. My current pupils include total beginners to grade 8 distinction drummers.
Many people just want to play for fun - I can help you learn songs and give tips on how to get in and play in a band!

What ages do you teach?
I teach all ages from 6 up,
Adult beginners very welcome.
Do I need a drum kit at home?
Not to start with, you will need a pair of drum sticks first,
then a practice pad.
Do you teach grades?
I teach Rockschool Drums 2018 syllabus,
and Trinity Rock & Pop Drums 2017 syllabus.
How much are lessons?
Lessons are £16.00 per half hour or £32.00 per hour.
Do you do vouchers?
Yes I have half-hour vouchers that can be bought in any quantity for presents and can be collect in person from the shop or posted or emailed to you.
